As the thinking area and the gives a big importance for arranging yearly outcomes where the member artists present their research based art projects in front of the spectators or viewers. Members feel this program has a great importance to reach the people of both home and abroad for sharing their skills and concepts of art. By this Twenty-two of years Santaran has organized Fifteen Yearly outcome Art show in Bangladesh and abroad. Members of Santaran started researches for understanding new medium of art to express their creative thoughts by 1999 and the earlier four exhibitions were devoted for expressing the perceptions of the members.
Horith (art of environmental development)
Horith is one of the significant permanent public art programs of Santaran Art Organization and environmental art camp is the fundamental activities of Horith program. To create public awareness through environmental art camp for preventing destructive activities and to save the natural environment of Alikadam of Bandarbans district, Santaran has started this permanent program on 21st February of 2009. But Santaran was organized 1st Environmental art camp in Alikadam at 1999.
Tushi is member of the governing body of Santaran Art Organization and she is an Assistant Professor of Shanto-Mariam University of Creative Technology, Bangladesh. Tushi is deeply involved in exploring the various aspects of a woman’s life. A woman is sometimes perceived as a change-maker, a symbol of beauty or an object of entertainment. Tushi has a contemporary take on the interpretation of the Goddess Kali as the ultimate symbol of female power. Through new media art she has also explored the current definition of beauty and how the use of beauty product and the concept of makeover affect the notion of beauty. Monjur completed his Master’s in 2003, from the Department of Drawing and Painting, University of Chittagong. It was during his study that Monjur’s artistic expression began to brunch out in many different directions. Monjur has spent many years studying the application of performance art, installation art and site-specific art. The use of natural elements, landscapes and human figures strongly dwell in his performance arts. Bivol Saha was born in Chittagong. He received his post graduation in Drawing and Painting from the University of Chittagong. His work investigates the nuance of man’s relationship with society. He makes a conscious attempt to weave history and archaeology into the narrative of his work through an abundance of myths, symbols and imageries. The politics of conflict has strongly influenced his perception. His ability to use textures in two-dimensional works to produce optical illusions is a strong feature of his work.
Bivol is a one of the Founder member and Secretary General of Santaran Art Organization. Bivol has participated in all the Yearly Outcome Exhibition of Santaran from 1999-2016. Bivol’s Art works were exhibited at National Art Exhibition organized by Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy. His art work also exhibited in Gallery of Indian High Commission Dhaka ,2002, Bangladesh National Museum 2005 and 2009, Nepal Art Council, 2007, 1st Dhaka Art Summit 2012, Bengal Art Lounge 2013, Nandan Art Gallery, Nandan Museum, Shantiniketan, India, 2016 . Bivol has participated in many art camps and art workshop. At present he is in teaching profession.
One can find the spectrum of Satabdi’s emotions in her work. A veneer of a solid color in many of her artwork is her signature style. The representation of her work in the traditional scroll painting from has given it a new dimension. She is also trying to reconcile thought provoking art with three-dimensional art in her painting on boxes. Satabdi post graduated from the Department of Fine Art of University of Chittagong. She was born in Chittagong. Her concerns are focused on the aspect of environmental degradation and she tries to get this message across by consciously choosing natural elements in her work. Satabdi has participated in has participated in all the Yearly Outcome Exhibition of Santaran from 1999-2016. Nasir was born in 1980. In 2002 he was graduated from the Government Art College Chittagong. Even Though he was a student of printmaking his interest eventually seemed to lean towards digital art. Nasir mastered Auto CAD so he could incorporate architectural designs and drawings in his work. The constructive images in his art and his perspective on life are deeply connected. Sometime he draws a simile between columns in a structural frame and the future of the country and at other times the comparison in between structural drawings and societal framework. His work seems to come from a place where his artistic values and his profession meet. A member of governing committee of Santaran Art Organization, Nasir is currently working in the Middle East.
Meherun Akter (Visual Artist), Born in 1986 at Chittagong, Bangladesh. She obtained her post graduation in painting from Fine art department of Chittagong University in 2012. Meherun is a member of Santaran Art Organization and Assistant Director of Kalpoapuri(related to children art and philosophy) ,Public Art Project of Santaran Art Organization. Meherun Akter did solo exhibition 2015 – Titled ‘Self Conversation’ at Bistaar, Chittagong Arts Complex, Chittagong, Bangladesh. Meherun attended Morni Hill Performance Art Biennale 2016, An Outcome show in Museum and Art College of Chandigarh, India. KIPAF 4th, Kolkata International Performance Art Festival 2016, Kolkata, India. 16th Asian Art Biennale, National Art Gallery, Bangladesh .She also joined Only Connect (Edition 2), 2015, Organized by Bengal Art Foundation, Dhaka, Bangladesh. Meherun also participated at Multi Disciplinary Art Exhibition titled “Perspective of Art & Space” Organized by Santaran Art Organization, Dhaka, Bangladesh in 2015. Meherun also have joined several Art camp 2013, 2008, 2007- Organized by Santaran Art Org, Ali Kadam, Bandarban, Chittagong, Bangladesh.2012 Film making Camp on Shundarban organized by Indigenous Visual Art, Bangladesh.She also did many workshop, Video Art Workshop 2011. 1st Porapara “Performance Art Workshop” conducted by Seiji Shimoda, Performance Artist of Japan and organized by Porapara Space for Artists ,Chittagong, Bangladesh. Mithila Folk Art workshop 2008. Meherun Akter Joined Santaran Art Camp Alikodom, Bandarban, Chittagong, Bangladesh 2013, 2011, 2008 and 2007. She joined in various local workshops on experimental media across country. She also did co ordinate and children art camp (Kalpoloker Chitro -4) at AliKadam, Bandarban. Meherun Akter received an Award called Shouvontik Best award on painting in 2009.
